This bookmark – and banned books pin – is from the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford, Connecticut where my friend Amanda recently spent her Christmas. I love it – and was in need of a bookmark anyway!

In 2013, I'm making a vow to not buy any new/used books until I finish the 152 books in my house that I have never read. (I can still use the library and borrow books from friends, FYI.) Maybe my most favorite book ever has been sitting on my bookcase for years, and I just never started reading it!
